“Still life photography” setup
you need to be in a dark room with a camera on a tripod
Camera settings :
– turn your camera to M mode (Manual mode)
– set the iso at its lowest setting .
-select a small apperture (big f number) , say f/9.0
-slow down the shutter speed , that will give you enough time to fire the electronic flash (manually), and as it’s "still life" we will not worry about any movement .
– select AF to adjust the focus, then switch to MF to avoid focus adjusting in every shot .
-set the self-timer , then push the shutter button .
-hold the electronic flash in that space between the support and the background (lower level), point it to this latter , then when you hear the shutter (first curtain) fire it .
